My data connection is non-existent ; I've tried all the troubleshooting tips and have ended up here. Does anyone have the answer to what seems a simple probem to solve ?

Has your troubleshooting been able to determine if there is a mast issue near you, preventing signal from getting to your phone?
Is there another phone you can use to swap SIM to check (both on O2, naturally).
Is your phone set up correctly for the type of service you have from O2, ie PAYG or PAYM/Contract?
