Hi, dropped my phone and the software now appears to be damaged as i can't access my phone at all

More likely it is internal damage and the phone will need to be looked at by a repair shop.

Such damage would not come under any warranty and would necessitate you making a claim through insurance if you have any

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
