I cancelled a packaged that was signed up to virgin that obviously included a 02 sim, as i have had a sim..
And just recieved an email about a direct debit.
I called 02 but they seemed very unhelpful about the situation.
I will return the sim with a letter but i need 02 to remove my card details from their system.
I really do not wish to go through calling them again, and 4 hours on the phone to virgin again is more than i can cope with..
If there is any tech support here that could assist i would be appreciated.

You need to go through Virgin as they need to confirm the Virgin package is cancelled to O2.

Great.. will just have to cancel the direct debit when it starts.
If virgin cant relay back to 02 its cancelled thats not my problem..
4 hours on the phone and in chat with virgin is more than enough for me..
Thanks for the reply..

@JohnnyH If you cancel the direct debit without going through the proper procedure, the only one who gets hurt by that is you. Your credit score would be negatively impacted, and the debt would eventually get transferred to a collection agency. You wouldn't be able to get credit for anything, let alone a mobile phone contract, so you need to reconsider your decision before you throw all your toys out of the pram.

6 years of paying off a IVA..
Ive been hurt before ..
My credit score being low means nothing to me now.
If they want to chase for a debt for a sim ive just recieved and be posting back later today thats their problem..
If they cant just canel it up to them ..
I feel for all these old people who get caught by doorstep sales pople with no one to help them..
Its disgraceful..

Also the proper procedure to me seems to be..
Spend a week on the phone..
Get stressed get nowhere..
Rinse and repeat.
