iPhone 15 Pro (UK), O2 pay monthly on eSIM. For a few days I can’t make or receive calls — outbound calls fail and anyone ringing me gets a message like “number not available / not in service”.
SMS still comes through (actual SMS, like 2FA codes etc). Wi-Fi calling also stopped.
Tried reboot, reset network settings, different locations. Another SIM in the same phone makes calls fine, so it’s not the handset.
O2 first-line couldn’t fix; waiting on tech/2nd-line support and they’re sending a replacement SIM in the mean time. Anyone else had this on O2 recently? If so, what was the fix (reprovisioning / new eSIM / something else)?

Any replacement eSIM should appear in MyO2
If there you need to erase the old one first.

They have sent a physical SIM for some reason... not sure why they didn't use eSIM as that's what I am currently using. I don't see an eSIM in my account that I can activate. Guess I will call back and ask for an eSIM.

Quite frankly you are better off with a plastic SIM while on O2.
However, if the new SIM is giving the same results as the old one it will be an account problem.
Just make sure the eSIM has been deleted if using plastic
