Solved: upgrading - SIM only

I currently have a SIM only deal paying £25 per month for 45gb. It is upgradable. So if I "upgrade" to a different SIM only deal (in MYO2 but via uswitch) will the new one just take over and cancel the existing or do I need to cancel the existing first?

Providing you are out of the minimum period on your present deal the you can upgrade via O2 or USwitch and that will take over
