It also matters not where or from whom the contract is taken as you will always be paying O2.

Hi @MI5   Now you have  confused me.  Are you saying that if I decide to buy a phone that uses EE network or Vodafone etc  I will still be paying O2?   What for?  Also, if anyone can join the O2 forum why do I read os often that "we are all O2 Customers here"?

@Anonymous, if your an O2 customer you can still join the community. I think you may have misunderstood what you were told. I assume they meant that if your phone breaks you'd have to take it back to CPW & have their geek squad repair as that's the place you got the handset from

Hi @Anonymous   Perhaps that is indeed what they meant, but it certainly was not what they said.

Yes obviously - Some people can be pedantic to the nth degree Astounded

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Sorry to be repetitive @Anonymous  - but I really don't think that is what he said! LOL   But thanks for clarifying anyway.
