switching network and charges

Hey i apologise if this has already been answered somewhere but i the information i found was mixed

as i understand it, you must give O2 30 days notice before leaving their network otherwise you incurr a fee

however some people have said if you get your PAC code from O2 and provide it to a different network your contract will be cancelled automatically

considering the PAC code only lasts for 30 days if you cancel your contract this way will you get an extra charge from O2 (assuming youve completely your contract and its simply automatically extending month by month at that point)

thanks for any help

Any additional monthly charges will depend on when you use the PAC.
If you have completed your min term just use the PAC (no notice required) and whilst this will generate the final bill (and add a further month by default) you will get the extra refunded to your account once it's closed.

When the other network uses the PAC code this auto ends your o2 contract and you'll receive the final bill
