Had this message from 02 this morning , toped up £15 , but didnt get promised £10 credit ...

Is this just a way to get people to top up ?

Hey @Anonymous and @MI5 & @jonsie, here's a clarification on how this one works, in case it helps clarifying things. :slight_smile:

 

So after the customer receives this promotion text message from O2 and they top up the £15, it can take up to 48 hours for the extra £10 to appear. It should appear in the balance as normal, so the recipient would be aware of when it gets added.

 

@Anonymous can you confirm that you ended up receiving the £10 in the end?

Usually it's applied as a virtual credit which is used up before your allowances .
It may also take a while for it to show in your balance, if at all.

I don't think it ever shows on the balance. You know it's finished when it starts using other credit or allowances.
