Hi,

 

I upgraded my Iphone to Note 3 on Saturday and kept my number. I am not an expert on these things but the guy in the shop (who was very helpful as I had originally changed provider when ordering the Note 3) said to turn my phone off in a few hours and then it may have already "ported" It is now Sunday evening 20.00 and I still have the connection on my Iphone but not the note......anyone have any ideas why this has not happened yet?

Ok now we have a clearer picture.

 

O2 should have just done a swap my sim procedure if the sim sizes are diferent as the account would have been changed to smartphone and 4g data.

 

If the sim is the same size just swap them over as the account would have been changed.

It can take upto 24 hours to ffully complete.

Keep turning it off and on.

It not by tomorrow then phone O2 on 202 tomorrow.


Just check your service status too to ensure your masts are ok

who was your previous provider?

I guess you had your pac code and in the o2 store the used that?

keep turning the old phone off and on once that loses service from previous provider the porting process has started then can take 24 hours

I was with O2.....it was an upgrade. My Iphone was not on 4g but the note is so I assume it is not a case of just swapping sim over?
