porting number from payg to contract

Hoping you can give me some advice.

I have a payg, on O2. My mum has just given me a contract o2 phone, in her name that I am going to use. I want to port my PAYG number to the contract phone, how do I do this, and can I do it, or does my mum have to, since the contract is in her name?

You mother will need to do it if the contract phone is in her name. phone 202 on the phone or she can try filling out this form.......

Just don't go into a shop and get them to do it. I changed from payg to pay monthly & the assistant manager ( yes, the assistant manager) really didn't have a clue what he was doing! I went without a phone for over a week. It didn't help that o2 had crashed on the day I wanted to change. Anyway, enough of my blah blah, your better off doing it online as that's what the shop assistants do. Good luck.
