just a sony question

my contract expires in mid june and i was happy to renew it with another sony phone but the xperia 1 has been out of stock since i started to get messages from o2 about upgrades. they seem to be in stock for other networks and online stores. i would be sad after 10 years to leave the network but to get the phone i want i guess im gonna have to switch. i wonder if this is due to the immenent release of the xperia 1 ii ? any answers greatly received. thanks

The Xperia 1 Mk 2 has had its release date brought forward to the 18th June across all networks, whether o2 onboard at that time is another question..

Just to reiterate no other network in the UK has this handset as yet

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
