iPhone 12 - Issues making calls

Hi all,

 

We've recently rolled out iPhone 12s at work and a number of people are having issues being heard by the other party. If we call them back, most of the time the call connects fine, but occasionally it takes 3 calls in order to be connected properly.

 

We can hear them fine, but they can't hear us.

 

What makes it odd is that it doesn't matter if the sim came from an Android or older iPhone, it affects everyone the same.

 

Is there a known issue with o2 and the iPhone 12?

No known issues at all. Rather weird that it affects so many?

Have you checked your network status? https://status.o2.co.uk/ 

If that's ok then maybe new sims would help?

To be honest I don't know if the network status is the issue, its been happening for the last few weeks, plus those still on the old Android phones aren't having any issues. I'll see if I can get some new sims and replace a few and see if it makes any difference.

We have rolled out iPhone 12's and have had no reported issues, and that is with new and old sim cards, as well as users migrated from Android, and iPhones.

It might be worth putting in a call with Apple Enterprise / Business Support, if you have sufficient quantities of Apple Kit.

Did you get this resolved? I am having the same problem - i can hear them but they can't hear me, plus calls are getting dropped several times a day.
