Had you gone for Direct Debit, the standard for an O2 contract, this would not be a problem.
O2 does not send an OTP to pay, just to change details - have you looked at Guide: How to Pay Your Bill (Airtime & Device Plans) for options?
If your bank or card uses OTP, then you may need to go walkabout to find somewhere with a decent O2 signal, say a nearby supermarket or ball or similar. Good luck!
