getting a new offer nad want to keep the number

i am getting my daughter a new pay monthly sim deal.

she already have an iphone that is locked to o2. i want to ensure that she will be able to port her number after getting the new sim.

there doesnt seem to be an option in the checkout process, and calls made to o2 all been dropped..

any advice ?

If you are upgrading then use the same sim card she has at the moment.

@Covidian If you're upgrading your daughter's contract but keeping the same number, you don't need to get a new sim.
