Thinking about getting a phone on contract and need to know if you pay a month in advance because I have nothing left till I get paid next week.

Yes you pay one month in advance which is due to be paid after 2 weeks of taking out the contract.

@Anonymous Without wishing to pry, if your budget is that tight you might want to to have another think about entering into a long term contract. It has to get paid every month, and O2 takes no prisoners if it isn't. You would also have to pass a credit check before you take the contract out.
