is there any way I can check online when I first started my contract???

If it was in the last few years you can click under "My Orders" then it might show on there, mine only goes 3 orders previous though so doesn't show my original start date anymore.

You can see when it ends in my O2 and if you know it's 18 months or 2 years you can work it out that way or you can look at your payment history in my O2 and that should go right back to the first payment you made

You ask about checking online and other members have made suggestions to get an estimated date, however if you call O2 customer service they can give you an exact date.
