my contract has been cancelled, i did not know this as my dad had cancelled it. however i want to continue the contract but to transfer the contract to my direct debit? my contract ended two days ago, will i be able to continue this contract with a cheaper tariff? but to keep the same phone

You can't transfer it to your name without your dad's consent. He would have to call O2 and you would probably have to be there to do this. You would also still have to go through a credit check. You would have to pass a credit check with any network you wanted to get a contract with.

i was with carphone warehouse but on o2 so will i have to go to carphone warehouse as my phone was with them? or ring up o2?

You can do either, but if you are looking to take out a contract you will still have to pass a credit check. If you don't think you will you can opt for Pay & Go.

To be honest, I don't know. If you went into CPW to get a contract they would probably do it there.

Forget the old contract - IT'S GONE !!
You have to take out a new contract and hope that O2 still have your old number that they can allocate to the new contract.....
