bit confused about an order I placed for a sim only contract, spoke to a gentleman on the phone said it was all aproved. recieved an email saying it will be on its way but I've recieved no further information nor the sim card in the post and when I log into my o2 it says I dont have any products would it be safe to assume there has been an issue? or do I need to wait longer confimation email was recieved on the 3rd of feb its now the 10th

Sounds like the order hasn't been processed for some reason.
I'd chase them up.
You'll need to call customer service.
