how do i change my sons phone (which is in my name) frm pay monthly to pay as you go?

@iphonegirl You would have to pay off whatever is left of the pay monthly contract, then get him a Pay & Go sim and put some credit on it.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

i have his phone paid off, so do i have to cancel the contract as he’s still using his fone and thought it cancelled automatically once fone was paid off? thanks

All you need to do is call 202 from the phone and once you pass the security checks, ask them to migrate you to PAYG.
They will make the changes on the computer and send you a new SIM card which you must use as the settings are different.
It will still have the same phone number though unless you specifically want a new number.

Much the simplest way and they will then send you a final bill. Please don't cancel the direct debit until this has been paid and taken from your bank.
