I have today upgraded and got a sony z1 and have changed to a 4g sim, how do i activate this new simcard and deactivate my old 3g sim? confused lol

If you have your new sim just head over to http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/ and follow the steps.

If you do not yet have it just give customer services a call or pop into your local O2 store and ask for one there.

Hi,

Be aware that the process takes from a few minutes to 24 hours to fully activate.

Turning your phone off and on throughout this period helps to reset your network signal.

Another way to sim swap is to text SWAP to 20220
