I just received an excited letter about worldwide24 from Leon Rudd, Head of Business Marketing  at O2

The news was that for a mere £7.50 my users can get 200MB data for 24 hours abroad - actually it says "up to"

Well all I know is that Vodafone charge £2 a day and when I go to the USA I just slip in a Three PAYG  SIM to my phone (having diverted my calls off my O2 SIM), I then pay them £15 which gives me unlimited calls and texts to the UK as well as unlimited data.  So £7.50 a day does not seem a good deal at all does it ?

Also what does "Be more dog" mean at your signature ?  Doesn't seem very respectful to your clients.

The signature is connected to the current media tv adverts for O2.

Just reminded me of.... "I'll be your dog" from the old Kia-Ora advert!!

'Be more dog' is O2's lame attempt at creating a catchphrase for the brand. They think it's cutesy because they use a cat that they try to get to behave like a dog. Personally, I think it's a dreadful advertising campaign.

Actually they use a cats head on a dogs body...even more outrageous and stupid. Just remember though, as they do use a cats head...they use a cats brain as well. So ...an advert that totally shot itself in the foot really
