I tried calling to check when my contract is over, 202 rings then dies in a second.
I then tried the landline pay number that gets you in a menus system.
I chose the "are you thinking of leaving O2" option and ended in a huge queue.
They must be lining up to leave?
Been with O2 since 2008 it was a good network in those day and 202 worked.
Anyone else able to get through on it?

Best bet is to try every hour or so or you could log into myo2 and select the details about your plan which should give a contract end date.

Also..CS has been very busy lately with the launch of some flagship phones....Friday will be 'panic day' with people ringing to get their queries in before the weekend...
Apparently it is better to ring as early as possible in the mornings..... If you want to go via the phone route, you just have to keep trying I am afraid...:smileysad:

You can check in My O2 (link at the top of this page on the right) to see when your contract is up. I wouldn't bother with Live Chat, particularly with anything concerning your account. They are outsourced and only good for low level enquiries, and sometimes not very good at that either.

I think O2 are getting past a joke now....Over the past two days I have had to make 3 calls to various customer service depts...
CPW...wait time 2 minutes....
Amazon ...NO wait time...Call back was immediate
Toshiba:...wait time 30 seconds....
I know only one of those shown actually sells the latest flagship phones...even so, O2 should learn some lessons I think

Despite the recently published figures, sinking ship springs to mind....
