My boyfriend ( only 6 months )had to go to New Zealand to see his sick mum. He turned all phones off because of work contacting him. He's been gone 6 weeks and the other day his Whatsapp was in use. I got a friend to call the number on her phone and he answered. I'm not sure if he is home or still there. The ringtone wasn't no different from ringing him here so does that mean he's here or still there and the times on Whatsapp are the same as ours and I know there is a time difference.

Just because he has been on WhatsApp doesn't mean he is home, it just means he has turned his phone on and connected it to a network, possibly Wifi...wherever he is.
You don't know he is home.

I think then, sadly, you have your answer...by having no answer...:smileysad:

If you've read previous you will see I called this phone just to hear the ringtone and it was no international ringtone

Very true but be a man and be upfront and don't be ignorant and ignore me

And you think calling the number just to hear the ringtone, without giving him a chance to answer, is normal?

I am giving him a chance that is why I haven't spoke to him and waiting to hear from him . I just thought it was funny to switch phone off and then turn it on and ignore me.
