Hi,
My contract is due for renewal 10th January, I want to switch to a sim only contract as I'm happy with the phone I have right now. However, I can't seem to find any information out on how to get this done.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

The Simplicity Tariff is good. Here is the link:
http://www.o2.co.uk/tariffs/simplicity
You can opt in to it online if you log in to My O2 or you can call O2 customer services or do a livechat with an O2 advisor who will assist you with the change.

Going down the livechat route is your own choice.
Personally I am not really a fan of it - I find it good and bad - it all depends on which advisor you speak to - some are helpful and some aren't. Generally the responds on livechat are quicker (compared to being on hold on the phone to customer services), however in my experience the livechats can cause more issues.
It is entirely up to you
Make sure you choose the correct tariff with the amount of calls, texts and data that you need.

Adam's right, it should be possible to do this from within MyO2.

I did suggest that the OP go on My O2 but some people prefer to chat to O2 on the phone to swap tariffs. It all depends what the OP would prefer to do. Both options are available.
