Using phone in the Middle East

How can I reduce my costs for using my phone in the Middle East? I mainly txt back to the uk however my bills are coming in around the £150-£200 mark per month. Is there any sort of bolt on I can get to reduce this? Thanks

Hi, it would appear I should only be paying 10p per txt...my bill is in excess of £100-£150 each month yet I'm only sending 100-200 texts max?? I don't understand why I'm being charged so much? Thank you for your help, looks like ill have to contact

I use whatsapp with wifi but most of the time I away from a wifi zone so rely on texting. Thanks for your help

I'm fairly sure texts from the Middle East are charged at 40p per text. Check the rates here:
