Local or World sim for data and use whatsapp over wifi for calls to other whatsapp users.

Keep O2 sim out of phone or in airplane mode with wifi turned on.

No cheap packages for Morocco.

Use local WiFi and things like WhatsApps to make calls, download maps etc

A local PAYG SIM may be an option

Turn off Voicemail before leaving the UK
