Updating my tarriff online

Hi all, I am looking at upgrading my tarriff and getting a new phone. My only question is when I order a phone online, do I just take my old SIM card out and put it into the new phone or do I need a new sim sent to me?

Hello Sunshine, when upgrading they will send you a new sim but you do not need to register the sim which is sent you can just continue to use your old sim unless you are going from 4G to a 5G device which will be in your best interest to use the 5G sim sent.

They will send a new sim with the phone but it will be a blank sim

Use your old sim if it's the same size

Only change if you are getting a 5G enabled phone and are in a 5G area

In that case you will need to do a sim swap
