Upagrade...spare SIM

Hey  

So i have just upgraded my phone, understand that the upgrade is done on the original SIM so will need to put the sim from old phone into the new phone.

However, i was surprised to find another sim in the box! Now, is this just a sim that was sent in case my old one was broken, or is this an o2 sim that i could for exemple give to MiL? Or, when that new sim is activated will it think its actually my contract still and just "replace" my current sim as if it had broken or something?

They have inlcluded one just incase your old and new phones simcards arent compatible.

You cant give it someone else though, just keep it as a spare sim.
