Unlocking iPhone 5s after contract expires

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5s which was on a 24 month contract with o2, which has now been completed.

I now have an iPhone 6s on a new contract, with the same number that I had previously.

Can o2 still unlock my iPhone 5s? The "unlocking form" on the o2 website appears to require information about my current phone, when in fact, i only want to unlock my previous phone. Is it possible to just enter the serial number of my iPhone 5s to indicate that it is that model that I want unlocked?

So my question is, can o2 unlock a phone that is not your current phone?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes just fill in the form with the details of your old phone but use your current number (as used on the old phone).
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
