Time length to talk to customer services

What customer services, 3/4 of an hour waiting so far for an advisor to answer, quite happy to take the montly payment, what about an adequate service for it, should be 5 minutes max to answer a call.

Can I use a Pay&Go sim to transfer my Pay Monthly account over to my new iPhone which needs the nano sim rather than the micro sim I have now?? I have tried the Swap my Sim service but it doesnt seem to recognise the new sim number.
