Shanu: Please give me a minute.

Shanu: So that I explain this to you.

Shanu: It was an internal change and was done on 5th sep 2011.

Shanu: We did notify the customers through texts it may be that you didn't get it.

Shanu: Now the fair messaging is 2990 for unlimited texts.

We should not be standing for this, those of you who text instead of call like me can use this pretty fast and end up having to throw more money in our phones. I have never ran out of textx in a month until they made this change. Their fair usgae figure was around 12,000 before this change

Its not unlimited texts!!!

Almost 3000 a month is still quite a generous amount. The Fair Usage Policy is there to prevent abuse of the system by people using personal phone accounts for business use - such as sending out mass marketing texts. It's not really designed to limit genuine personal use by a single person.

I would imagine that even if you did reach the 2990 mark in a month, as long as your usage pattern was not out of the ordinary - you'd not be penalised for going over that number.
