Good morning,
I plan on going on holiday to the north of my country for a few weeks, the site that I’ll be staying has no Wi-Fi and so I’ll need to use my mobile data. I only have 1GB of mobile data. When I went abroad I used a bolt-on that allowed me to use unlimited mobile data for an extra £6 a week or so [can’t remember the exact price]. Is there a way I could have a similar bolt on within the country?

Bolt ons are by their nature very expensive for what you get. You might want to think about upgrading your tariff to get more.
If it's only a couple of weeks a year for vacation then think about get he phone unlocked and a local sim card.
