Hello,

I was looking to get a new phone. However I have to pay £302 to do so? Can you explain why if I’m on a sim only plan? It’s not like I am paying off a device? I could understand if there was a device to pay off but there isn’t. So why do I have to pay £302 when it’s only the sim I have?

This has put me off getting a new phone.

your help in understanding would be greatly appreciated

kind regards

sam

Probably because that's what's left on your airtime balance.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255

Thanks

You could consider buying a new handset from elsewhere @ssdizzysam and then putting your O2 SIM into it. Several members of this forum have bought 'phones without issue from manufacturers such as Apple and Samsung, whilst Carphone Warehouse, Amazon and Argos also sell a wide range of handsets from different manufacturers. 👍
