Transferring my number from Vodafone to O2

I have recently left Vodafone on Friday and received my PAC code. I provided my PAC code to O2 on the online form on Friday evening. It is now Tuesday morning and my number still has not be transferred over. I understand that apparently if done on a friday night/weekend it will be done the next tuesday but I have not received any form of communication saying they have received my PAC code application.

I understand that with everything going on at the moment lines will be busy and they will be running with fewer staff but as a brand new customer the last 3 days has been infuriating and I feel massively let down. All I simply want to know is whether O2 has received my PAC code or not and if it is in the process of being transferred over from Vodafone. I have tried to ring O2 for help on Sunday, Monday, and now Today (Tuesday) and the lines aren't even open (at 10:30AM). I messaged their Twitter account 24 hours ago with no reply. I just feel left completely in the dark.

Has my PAC code been received? Should I make a new PAC code form? Will it be transferred today like it says it should?

They are running a very limited service on porting. This will probably be the first day of processing but it would do no harm submitting the form again.

@SamB

You will have a confirmation text if request has been received but it seems O2 aren't doing ports or transfers currently due to staff shortages.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Do you know how long this could be as I received a brand new iPhone 11 on Friday which is when I started paying for it and I am still to use it as I need my old number... which I told O2 when I started the contract and they told me that would be no problem....
