Topping up over the phone max number on cards

I use to debit cards to top up mine and my husbands phones over the phone, we have changed sims a fair few times over the years and now it wont let me top up his new phone as both cards say they are registered to the max number of numbers, how do i change this obviously its old numbers that need wiped off? thanks

You need to call customer service to have the other numbers removed. You are allowed to top up two mobiles per card. They will register each number you wish to top up.

I'm not sure it's wise to ask for this using the chat option as I'm particular where I enter card details.

Which bank do you use ?

I ask because HSBC have an app called fast balance and within this app you have the option to top - up your phone credit and if you wish any family or friends too.
