I have received the following message from O2
O2: We were unable to process your latest bill. To avoid any fees or account suspension, please update your billing information via: <Link Removed>

The number was from +447498945481. Not sure how they knew I was a O2 customer. Unfortunately I went ahead and put all my personal details thinking it was legit and I have had to go and block my card with my banks. For some reason I think the O2 data has been compromised. You need to sort this ASAP before other people fall victims to these scammers...

@Banana87

It's been going around for months across all networks.

They don't actually know that you are an O2 customer, just that your number originated on O2, but you could have transferred it to another network, in which case it would obviously be a scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
