So my tariff charge is almost £10 more than what my contract says on paper. Why?
I've checked if there was any unexpected charges or anything, and there is none. So why is it almost £10 more?

This is my first bill with my upgrade. I can understand if it goes up a bit, but going up nearly £10 is a bit much.
I've got two seperate bills, one for my phone and one for my tariff. The phone bill is fine, it's just the tariff. On My O2 the VAT charge is what is increasing it by a lot, but on my paper contract the tariff bill states that VAT is already included in the price.
Furthermore, before my upgrade, I had a sim only contract with O2. I got this £20 deal and throughout my whole time with O2, it never went up by a crazy amount and VAT was included as well with this deal. (OLD CONTRACT)

You would be paying your old rate up until the change over which makes the first bill higher.

I had just researched and found out the reason. Was just worried that it was going to continue to be that high.
Thank you for your help.
Stay safe.
