Switching from PayMonthly to Payasyougo.

Not applicable

This is an O2 conundrum! I moved abroad over 4 years ago and have paid my monthly charge by card payment, with a card registered in the country I now live. At the end of the contract last moth I wanted to switch to a PayasyouGo, but now I find I can't TopUp with the same card because it is registered outside the UK! The joke is that from O2's perspective, there is no risk with a pre-paying before incurring the charges, unlike a monthly contract. So I have a new SIM, and no UK mobile service---great! Anyone else been able to find a way around this without using family and friends in the UK to Top Up. Thanks

It's something that has been mentioned many times before but I did notice I had the option to register a non UK card when I toped up a new sim the other day.
Have you tried calling CS on +44 7860 980 202 (int rates) or live chat, to see if they can register the card for you?
