Swapping phone numbers within O2

Just coming to end of pay monthly contract so used "Refresh" option to take new iPhone 5S - now under MyO2 I have two account numbers and separate phone numbers 1) Can I swap phone numbers from old phone to the new phone (and vice versa)

This is can only be solved by using 202 and getting through to an operator that understands what needs to be done ther was a guide done by a staff member vthe other week let me find it and post a link here so you can resolve it with as little stress as posiable. but you cannot swap the numbers only close the old account and keep the old number.

I know it is not exactly the same but I bileve that is the only way to do it.

You can only keep your existing number and transfer it to the new account. Really you should have upgraded but it sounds like you took a new contract so make sure you cancel the old one....
