I ordered an iPhone XR early morning yesterday - all confirmed, legal documents etc.
It said it could take up to 24 hours for it to be confirmed.
I checked at 8AM this morning with them over the phone and they said it'll be done within a few hours. It's now surpassed the 24hr mark and I'm not able to get in touch with O2 again.
Any idea on whether or not there's other way round this or any direct phone to the correct department? Whole point of getting the phone is so I can work from home as my current phone wouldn't be able to do that. I ordered it because it was "In stock" and was being delivered today. I'm lost on what to do here as I'm potentially losing out now?

Possibly out of stock but check with customer service

Just got through to them on the phone after an hour waiting - they told me they don't have access to customer's orders and only essential services.
