I have just wasted 3 hours faffing around trying to get a simple answer to a question. Two days ago I simply wanted to switch from my Micky Mouse Tesco deal to 02. I wanted to keep my old number so I sent you a PAC. Today I get the new SIM I set it up and Yo it's a new number! I didn't want a new number so clearly there has been a ****** up! How do I change it? Mmmmmm. You are a TELEPHONE COMPANY so why can't I phone someone to talk about it? Forget it, so now I try 'voice chat' Are you having a laugh? It doesn't understand the most simplest of questions. After finding no answers on the internet. I managed eventually to get through to a very helpful man on 'live chat' and he told me my new number was a TEMPORARY number until the full change happens. Fine now I know what is happening. WHY COULD YOU NOT HAVE TOLD ME THIS IN MY WELCOMING EMAIL. I've wasted all morning on this!!!!!!!!!!!

First thing, you are not talking to O2 here. We are a community of O2 members like yourself.
You need to call O2. All numbers are in this guide. Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
If they can't help, I will tag one of our account advisors @O2Lisa who will be back on Monday at 8am. She will send you a private message.
Let us know if you get sorted via customer services though.

I am most grateful to you. Why do they make it so difficult to talk to them? It was such a simple question. I am not at all impressed! Please pass this on to Lisa and I will again try customer services.
