Samsung watch 3 -Add mobile data

I've just swapped my phone sim, to an e-sim.

I'm told (by O2) that I can now add that same plan to my samsung Watch3 - so that I can leave my phone at home, and my watch will recieve calls etc from my network provider, using my existing pay monthly plan.

I've tried to add the mobile plan. I get the error message:

"Your mobile plan is not yet set up. Please contact your service provider" error code 118

I can use my mobile data on my phone fine, using the esim. Can anyone help?

I have the Anytime monthly plan, so I believe I can use this on any device?

You need to go in store to activate the esim for the watch and apply the data plan.

It costs an extra £5 per month for this.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
OnePlus 6 (O2 & Sfr), Z3 Tablet (Three UK), iPhone 8+ (EE)
