I sent a text to my son, he replied and I sent an acknowledgement. This last text has appeared on his phone many times over the past few hours. He has mutiple SIMs and it seems to be on UK and his non-UK numbers and a number which he doesn't have the SIM for. I'vedeleted the text from my phone but that hasn't stopped it. What is going on? Am I running up a bill I didnt ask for?

Chances are that you have unlimited texts so won't be a financial burden to you.
Texts will continue to send if the network doesn't;t send a received code to the server, so it;s probably just a temporary network issue.

UK texts are free but not texts to numbers abroad!

It won't send it to any number other than the one you sent it to.
Check your log to see which number(s) you texted.

Unfortunately I deleted my text! My original text was to the UK number but his phone seems to receive it on numbers abroad including one that is no longer attached to this phone. It's been a long day, I'm going to think about it again in the morning...

It has to be his phone forwarding the text to other numbers.

Many thanks for your support. He's only received one text this morning and has reduced his phone to one UK SIM card. I can stop panicking! Thank you for all your advice, much appreciated.
