Upgraded an iPhone 8 to iPhone 11 with O2, new plan etc etc. Received new phone, data transfer completed, new SIM inserted, still no phone capability on new device after more than 24 hours. Still have capability on old phone. Do I need to contact O2 to completed the transfer of service?

@ColinS57

Have you tried your old sim in new phone? If that works then there may be an issue with the phone.

Either way you need to contact customer services Guide: How to find help & contact O2 Be patient as they are running an extremely reduced service due to the current crisis.

Best of luck anyway.

Did you upgrade or take out a new contract @ColinS57?
Upgrade and you should be able to use your old sim.
New contract and you will need to activate new sim AND transfer your number across. Which will mean calling customer services..

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
