I have a pay and go SIM which isn't working. The number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is it possible to get the SIM reactivated?

You need to call customer service as it depends how long it’s been deactivated http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Hi @Anonymous have you not used the sim for some time or has it recently become faulty? If you have not used it for a length of time then call customer service Pay as you go team & they will try & help. If it hadn’t been used for a long time then the number maybe recycled & allocated somewhere else. If it’s a faulty sim then you can ask for a replacement when you call customer service or pop into your local o2 store & they will sort you out. Also please remove your phone number as this is a public forum

The SIM I currently have was sent to me by O2 as a result of an online chat I had on this site with O2 customer services. I was sent this SIM as the original one had stopped working - presumably due to it having not been used for some time. (The SIM in question is used in a handset used chiefly for emergency purposes). This new SIM however also does not work.

@Anonymous The sim may need activation & a sim swap. Call customer service again & see if they can activate the sim with your number on

SIM cards sent in post are not active.
There will be instructions with it on how to activate it.

Apologies for the delay in replying - I have had some connectivity issues.

I cannot find the sim in question - I have spent quite some time searching for it. How can I order a replacement on line?

Regards,

John Bennett.

You really need to call them or use live chat. Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go are different sims so you need to make sure they send you the correct one
