Hi @Gill2

You could try drying it off and putting it in a bag of rice in an airing cupboard (which worked once for me)

Or, as your contract has ended, you can upgrade.

With a phone which isnt working and to upgrade, you either need to contact O2, all numbers in this guide Guide: How to find help & contact O2 or Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Or pop instore with ID and upgrade there.

@Gill2 You're going to need a new phone. You can buy it anywhere. You can try drying the phone off with the bowl of dry rice or airing cupboard trick, but that never really is a solution or has any guarantee of working, so just buy a new phone.

You're also probably going to need a replacement sim. Your contract on a one month basis is still going. You can call customer service on any number in the link below. Because you're not buying anything, O2 won't consider your call important, so use the Lost/Stolen or Fraud option if you have to, to get through. Otherwise you'll just be disconnected.
