Refund deposit

Hello, I was wondering how I could contact o2 to ensure my deposit that I paid at the start of my contract is refunded to my bank account as I do not want it returned as credit. I cannot see anything about this on the website. Am I correct in believing due to covid-19 o2 are not taking calls on this subject?

After your third bill it should be returned as a credit on your 4th bill.

You then need to call to request it transferred to your bank account.

Use any number and chose any option to get through Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Thanks for the reply, I know that I do not have to wait for the fourth bill because this is my second deposit refund. What I’m after is how to contact them. Furthermore this doesn’t solve my problem if I still can’t contact them after my fourth bill.

We don't have any other ways to contact them so just keep trying and say anything to get connected to an advisor.

@MI5 my apologies I completely missed it. I managed to get through and the lady said it goes back on the fourth bill (as you said) and then I can ask for a refund. The thing is I know this to be untrue because I’ve gotten a refund without problem the day after I’ve paid my third bill in the past. Expecting a call from a supervisor later. Thanks for your help!
