Receiving spam from o2

How can I disable the spam messages from O2 advertising pay and go go go? I have tried calling 2202 and listening to every option, didn't find a way to disable it.

"O2: You're paying our standard rates for calls, text and web. You could get a better deal with Pay & Go Go Go allowance. Call 2202 free to pick one."

I'm not spending £10 a month so in fact it WOULDN'T be a better deal.

Couldn't see that option, it only gave me options for which monthly tariff to have, no option for "no monthly tariff". Ended up using a the live chat and the person on there was able to disable it.

You should be able to set your preferences in MyO2.

Yeah, so what? If anyone should ever find the thread on google they might as well see the actual resolution, rather than a vague reference to the myo2 which I have always found to be buggy anyway.
