Question regarding upgrading and credit checks

Hello everyone

 

I am a SIM only O2 customer, i have been for a few months now, i just logged into My O2 and was offered an upgrade, i had a look at SIM only deals i could 'upgrade' to - i found a deal i quite like which is £20 cheaper than my current deal! I obviously want to go for it but i am not sure what the policy is on credit score checks. Will there be another hard search on my credit score if i go through with the upgrade? Or is there no extra check as its not a new account with O2 its the same one just a different (cheaper) monthly price

 

Any info on this would be highly appreciated.

No credit checks at all on upgrades.

Is everyone here absolutely 100% certain there will not be any hard credit search, i really need to avoid any further hard searches on my file.
