Hi. . .

I hve just come back to O2 after a short stint with Sky mobile (They piggyback off O2).

My network coverage is worse than with Sky and also when I was previously with O2. My phone is a Galaxy S10.  I'm now wondering if I have ordered the wrong sim 4G and not 5G. Also, I still have my original sim, can this be reactivated and my number transferred to that?

Thanks for your help

All Sims are the same for all contracts so there is no wrong one.

There may be an issue with the network which you can check here.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

All O2 sims are now 5G if bought new.

However, if 5g isn't fully commissioned in your area yet, you won't get it all the time. The signal will drop to 4G.

It could also be a problem with a mast. Check your network status here
